The Vacuum Trailer Wide S8W–S20W is a series of machines designed for advanced turf management. Excess grass clippings can smother the turf and cause damage. If left on the surface, clippings can lead to thatch build-up between the grass blades. When this layer becomes too dense, the roots can no longer absorb water, oxygen, or (artificial) fertilisers effectively, resulting in stagnated growth. Regular removal is essential for maintaining healthy turf.

Frequent sweeping and collecting also helps firm up and strengthen the turf surface. TRILO vacuum trailers contribute directly to turf quality. For sod growers, this means earlier and better-quality harvesting is possible.

Despite their size, the wide vacuum trailers are remarkably manoeuvrable and equipped with a high-capacity hopper. You can choose from various loading volumes ranging from 8 to 20 m³. A larger volume means fewer trips to empty the container, saving valuable time and fuel.

One of the key strengths of the S8W–S20W vacuum trailers lies in their combination of power, efficiency and user-friendliness. At the heart of each machine is a powerful impeller, mounted in a durable housing with replaceable wear plates. This setup generates exceptional suction power, allowing operators to work at high speeds without compromising performance.

Despite their size and capacity, the wide S-series trailers are easy to handle. With working widths ranging from 2.1 to 3 metres, they are designed to be operated by just one person. Discharging the collected material is quick and effortless thanks to a hydraulic chain floor, which ensures minimal downtime between tasks.

The machines are powered by a PTO shaft connected to a tractor, requiring an output between 75 and 110 hp (55–81 kW), depending on the chosen configuration. Thanks to their extra-wide radial tyres and the optional pendle axle with four in-line wheels, the trailers maintain a low ground pressure, making them suitable for use even on softer terrain or in challenging weather conditions.
