Der Mid Herts Golf Club, eingebettet in die Landschaft von Hertfordshire, ist einer von nur wenigen Heidepl\u00e4tzen in Hertfordshire. Nachdem er einige Jahre lang vernachl\u00e4ssigt worden war, l\u00e4uft derzeit ein Projekt zur Wiederherstellung des einheimischen Heidekrauts rund um die 18 L\u00f6cher unter der Leitung von Course Manager Jody Wilson. Bei der Schaffung der idealen Anbaubedingungen wird Jody von seinem Team aus f\u00fcnf Greenkeepern und einem Maschinenpark von TRILO unterst\u00fctzt.<\/p>\n

„Ich lernte das TRILO-Produkt zum ersten Mal w\u00e4hrend meiner Zeit im Woburn Golf Club kennen, wo wir eine der ersten Maschinen im Vereinigten K\u00f6nigreich kauften“, erkl\u00e4rt Jody, die nun schon seit 13 Jahren bei Mid Herts arbeitet. „Meiner Meinung nach sind sie f\u00fchrend auf dem Markt f\u00fcr Laub- und Abfallsammlung. Als unsere vorherige Maschine anfing, uns Probleme zu bereiten, wandte ich mich an TRILO, um nach Alternativen zu suchen. Nachdem er bereits zwei TRILO BL740 Laubgebl\u00e4se im Schuppen stehen hatte, f\u00fcgte er im Winter 2017\/18 eine S4 Saugwagen zu seiner Sammlung hinzu.<\/p>

Der Club arbeitet eng mit dem Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust an einem Plan zur \u00d6ffnung von Waldgebieten, um die Regeneration von Heidekraut zu f\u00f6rdern – ein gro\u00dfes Projekt f\u00fcr Jody. „Wir haben viele Eichen, die im Laufe der Jahre auf den Platz eingedrungen sind, was bedeutet, dass die Laubzeit immer l\u00e4nger dauert. Heidekraut und lange Gr\u00e4ser m\u00f6gen kein organisches Material. Um also die richtigen Bedingungen zu schaffen, sammeln wir jedes einzelne Blatt ein, das f\u00e4llt – eine t\u00e4gliche Aufgabe im Winter.<\/span><\/p>

Wir verwenden unsere BL740, um das Laub vom Platz zu blasen, wo es dann in der S4 gesammelt wird.“ Der S4 war von Anfang an im Einsatz und sammelte im Herbst\/Winter \u00fcber 140 Ladungen (oder 560 m3!) Laub ein. Obwohl er haupts\u00e4chlich zum Einsammeln von Laub eingesetzt wird, verf\u00fcgt Jody auch \u00fcber den Schlegelaufsatz f\u00fcr die S4, so dass er jetzt in einem Arbeitsgang das lange Gras schneiden und einsammeln kann, was fr\u00fcher mit zwei separaten Maschinen erfolgte. „Jetzt k\u00f6nnen wir beide Arbeiten gleichzeitig erledigen, wir sparen Zeit und Arbeitskraft, und die austauschbaren Arbeitswalzen machen ihn zu einer vielseitigen Ganzjahresmaschine.“ „Dort, wo wir das Laub wegger\u00e4umt haben, hat sich das Heidekraut auf nat\u00fcrliche Weise wieder ausgebreitet. F\u00fcr mich war das in den letzten 10-11 Jahren ein st\u00e4ndiges Projekt, aber jetzt machen wir echte Fortschritte.
