The biggest problem in cultivating quality turf is the pollution with thatch, which prevents the grass from fresh growth and will give you a poor final result. When detatching an other problem occurs, while the whole detatchment process gives you a lot of remnants which have to be removed in order to not further injure the turf. So it would be useful to have a solution which gives you the possibility of detatching and cleaning at the same time.

Mounted in front of the suction head, the scarifier will be, as already said, welcomed by the groundsman or turf producer who aims for highest quality grass.

There are two different types of scarifiers which can be attached on our machines. You have the stiff axle version which is mounted directly in the suction hood of the smallest vacuum sweepers and there is the 2-metre flexible scarifier, which can be deployed in front of the suction hood of the larger types of vacuum sweepers as the SG 700 and the SG 1100. The mechanically driven tripartite scarifier will closely follow uneven ground contours yet still maintain the correct depth setting. And in the combination with the fully floating brush head with variable depth setting, which is perfectly capable of working in the dampest conditions, further build up is prevented.






		The scarifier mounted in the sunction hood allows you to clean and detach in one pass
